What to Bring

Each trip to Camp Christopher is unique, so while we can’t tell you everything you’ll need to bring with you, we can give you some helpful suggestions:

  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Bathing Suit
  • Bible
  • Notebook/Pencil
  • Rain Gear
  • Towl
  • Toiletries
  • Bug Repellant
  • Water Bottle
  • Flashlight
  • Jacket
  • Footwear (at least 1 pair of closed toed shoes)

Cell phones (and other electronics) are to be left with parents/guardians or given to the Camp Director at the beginning of camp.  Camp Christopher is a community that has temporarily come apart into the out-of-doors.  We have the opportunity to experience community differently from home and in order to participate fully, we ask that all electronics are left at home.

Other things to leave at home include

  • Jewelry
  • Make up
  • Individual snacks (All food from offsite will be stored in the kitchen for the duration of the week)
  • Any form of electronics

If you’ve just registered for our Canoe, or LIT Camp, you’ll need to bring a few extra items. Check your email as we get closer to the summer or contact us on Facebook or by phone for a full list of the supplies you’ll need!
